Without political correctness
I first landed at JFK and almost immediately noticed that the black people, whom we still called negros in the USSR, did not seem or act oppressed, as we were told over and over again. In fact, as I soon discovered, they ‘owned’ the turf that was NYC, except certain neighborhoods, through their dominant behavioral tactics, which created fear.
Soon everyone welcomed MLK Day as National Holiday. We were all proud. He, too, would have been proud to see American blacks gain in education, employment and other opportunities. I think he would have frowned on generational welfare, unwed mothers with multiple children from different absentee and/or criminal fathers, ghettos breeding ghetto mentality, ghetto language, ghetto degradation, etc.
Introduction of PC terms
Several years later, through series of PAs, newscasts and popular TV programs, the switch of the terms from “black” to “African-American” was heavily promoted. By the early 1990s, to refer to an African-American as black was a social taboo. Keep in mind that by then 99% of blacks living in USA were only distant descendants of their African ancestors, and thus a cultural splinter had been injected into the now healing country, where equality of races had been hard won by people who embraced MLK’s teachings.
Following that, lesser speech splinters became norm. We were divided into Italian-Americans, Irish-Americans, German-Americans, Russian-Americans, American Jews and so on. Speaking of languages from the traditionally immigrant neighborhoods was also normalized, and the expression “You’re in America, speak English” was soon equated to hate speech. That was in New York City and NY State, the place I learned to love with all my heart and considered home for 18 years.
In the meantime, applications of various federal and state social services agencies became more cumbersome with mandatory translations to several languages, splintering further and creating ethnic conflicts.
Winners and losers
Also, some time in the late 1980s when Oscars changed their longstanding “And the winner is…” to “And the Oscar goes to…” in a strive to equalize winners and losers of the award. As if removing the word “winner” eliminates the disappointment of losing that or any contest. And so America and the world began their very public journey of becoming sore losers. With every revision and removal of anything representing strength of values, personal stamina was deliberately eroded from the next generation’s character. It was called political correctness. It was praised. It was pushed.
This reminded me so much of the Soviet Union of my first 18 years. There, quite similarly, we were pressed to believe in the things that made little or no common sense. And penalized if we did not comply. PC in USA gained speed. Penalties were soon added to speed it up even further.
It was no longer about street name-calling. It was a prelude to serious divisions. Someone, it soon became clear, was orchestrating this from behind the scenes, using media and government as working tools. Also using Hollywood. A black friend cringed at being referred to as African, protesting with “I never set foot in Africa! I’m a 10th generation American!” He also knew some of the inner workings of this new PC propaganda machine, correctly identifying its sources and goals to me in 1998… One of his predictions was that Hollywood would turn against the Jews. I wish he was wrong, but he was not.
The road to new exterminations is paved by Kapos
In the latest, most heinous ever, demonstration of that, yesterday’s acceptance speech by The Zone of Interest filmmaker negatively referenced the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict, saying he refuted his Jewishness.
Although his film was about the Auschwitz Commandante and his family, Glazer obviously is not on the Jewish side of the Holocaust. Does he think he would have been spared?
Glazer “occupation” remark was devoid of elementary grammatical sense, leaving many to wonder “What did he just say?”
Nothing good! He is just another denier! Another Jewish denier – a product of antisemitism and political correctness. Another proof that not all Jews are created intelligent. His win is likely just another nod. I noticed for years that Holocaust-related works, as well as works of authors trying to connect their writings to the “Jewish reader” market, have been saturated with all sorts of revisionistic perspectives in confirmation of that deliberate effort to cleanse Hollywood of its Jewish influence.
What is next? When? Where?
The Jews and every decent human being of the world have now been sufficiently alerted.
USA’s key officials demand ceasefire. So that they can lead us to the new exterminations!
