People waste so much effort on envy – if they only applied this effort to something constructively productive – they could move mountains! Instead they become sick, obsessing on other people’s accomplishments, results, achievements, work, personal lives, health and so forth.
Focusing that energy within one’s own field is something that, in my opinion, our society does not teach. Why? Because teachers, just as the majority of the world’s population, are contaminated by envy. So few are in this profession because they are driven by the desire to make an impact on young minds. Most, I fear, are in it for the long summers off.
How do we teach people not be envy?!
